EEDR: Interview with The Accessible Travel Info Point (Brussels)
Through the wonderful Ivor Ambrose at the European Network for Accessible Tourism (ENAT); I was put in touch with the office for accessibility in Flanders (a region of Belgium). Based in Brussels they share in this video interview their great work for accessible tourism in Belgium and beyond.
EEDR: day 15 – Cobbly Prague streets
As the trip approached 2 weeks long; Filipe and I had our most tired spell in Prague. I did find the cobbles a little bumpy too. Nonetheless we had a great meeting with POV (link) and enjoyed the old town. Checkout the video!
EEDR: day 14 – Wheelchair access in Auschwitz
On the journey between Krakow and Prague we stopped of in Auschwitz. A very educational stop and something I’ve wanted to do since I was 7 years old, learning about WWII. It wasn’t the most accessible part of the #EEDR though…
EEDR – The Beer Orchestra – Międzyrzecz (Poland)
During my stay at Kasias we had a real roadtrip moment. I had packed my harmonica, Kasias dad played guitar, Kasia the recorder and Filipe the drum. After some beer around a fire we just started playing. Here I present the ‘beer orchestras’ best tune 🙂
EEDR: day 13 – Night-time update from Krakow
This video was shot around 10pm by Krakow’s famous castle. It was the last night in Poland, before a detour to Prague, via Auschwitz. I share my observations of dropped curbs and restaurant access!
