What would you do with $500 to be Drop Dead Generous?
Would you take a 31-inch Shetland pony to an older people’s care home to spark joy and connection?
Would you plant daffodils in the shape of a smiley face for passengers flying into Bournemouth Airport?
Would you buy essentials for people experiencing homelessness during a freezing winter in Paris?
These are just a few of the powerful, creative, and heartwarming ways people have used Drop Dead Generous grants to spread infectious generosity.
Thanks to John M. Sweeney and Tom Cledwyn, alongside Kasia I am honoured to be one of the official DDG ambassadors—or Cats (short for Catalysts)—and that’s why I was in Austin, Texas, to kick off this incredible journey with the other Cats.
The dinner was special. The people were inspiring. And it was particularly meaningful to reconnect with AJ Leon, Melissa Leon, and Jessie White from the Misfits—mentors who’ve supported me for 15 years.
This is just the beginning.
