Calling Disabled Founders

One thing that caught my attention last year, that didn’t quite make my year in review post, was the amazing opportunities evolving for disabled founders and entrepreneurs.

When I look back at Srin Madipalli and I starting Disability Horizons and Accomable, we did find general business support, but very little was disability specific. Funding and investment was also a challenge, which is something I’ll focus on in a later post.

The great news regarding specific support for disabled founders is that it’s coming in abundance! One particular program you or your network might be interested in is this:

On the 7th and 8th of February 2024 University of Leicester School of Business and Ability Connect is running the Entrepreneurs and Disability Development Program. Providing insights, skills and resources for disabled founders.

Here is the registration link with further information on the program https://www.eventbrite.com/e/entrepreneurs-with-disability-development-programme-tickets-777028702767?aff=oddtdtcreator.
