So as my Tweets and Facebook updates mentioned I have had a little mystery going on the past week. I actually applied for a new job last November but there was a recruitment freeze before interviews. Think things happen for a reason because I was so unwell after this period who knows what may have happened. So I had my 1st interview last Friday and because the candidates were strong I was surprisingly called to 2nd interview hence the result was not known by wednesday as hoped. I cancelled my plans and prepared all I could. The interview went well and in the afternoon I was offered the job 🙂
It is still at Scope in fundraising. Currently I have been project managing the acquisition of new individual donors. so through street, door, phone and print we use different examples of scopes work to show people why we need them to support the great work carried out – independent living services, schools, phone helpline and campaigning for disabled people. Now I am a product development executive which means I assist taking all the things scope does and package them up for all of the fundraising teams. so I will still support my current team but also events, trusts, corporate and high value donor teams. all of whom have different demands in getting funds from their audience.
I am still to find out start dates and am sad to leave my current team who r cool. but the new role is really a great prospect and the people are just as great. cant wait to get stuck in. also means I am able to visit the services of scope more too.
so I am just taking this weekend easy as am v tired but very proud!!!
