A Day to Reflect, to Learn, to Act

This day was established to shine a light on the barriers faced by disabled people across the globe. It is a moment to amplify the voices of our 1.3 billion strong community worldwide and to celebrate the immense contributions we make to our societies. More than a day of recognition, it is a call to break down barriers—physical, societal, and attitudinal—and to embrace inclusion as a force for good.

Next Tuesday, we at Purple Goat will honor this day by hosting a special event for our clients, new brands, and agencies in the marketing world. Together, we will explore the profound social and business impact of authentically representing disabled people in advertising and media.

To inspire this journey, I invite you to look at one of our past campaigns, where representation was not just a box to tick but a powerful force for connection and growth. You can explore it here: https://www.purplegoatagency.com/inclusive-marketing-campaigns/.

And please let me know: what does the UN International Day for Disabled People mean to you? How can we, as individuals and businesses, drive meaningful change? Share your thoughts below—because together, we can move mountains.
