One of the highlights from this trip has to be going in a Gondola! Venice was such a beautiful and historic city. Naturally the Italian food was delicious. However to adapt a gondola for a 130kg wheelchair is unthinkable. As you’ll see once again – everything is possible.

You can watch all the action in the below video. The way I got into the gondola, the views I saw, and the enjoyment after overcoming my worries.

I just want to add how amazing the guys from Gondolas4all have been to get this off the ground. It’s been a slog for them. Please support them in any way possible. Their website is www.gondolas4all.com.

Here’s our awesome video filmed by the talented Kasia Miszczak and edited by the skilled Filipe Roldao.
