Solving complex challenges through collaboration, creativity and lived experience.
Purple Collective is a social impact initiative that brings together disabled people, organisations, businesses and policymakers to co-create practical solutions to real-world barriers.
Founded by me and Philip Hoare, who created our fantastic visual identity, Purple Collective is now led alongside director Ann Hawkins.
We believe lasting change happens when the people closest to a problem work alongside those with the influence and resources to solve it.
Our work focuses on convening the right people, understanding the systems behind the challenge and aligning incentives to unlock progress.
Current projects include Hoists in Hotels, helping more people who require hoists to travel with confidence, and supporting conversations through the Disabled People’s Charter.
Rather than campaigning alone or waiting for policy change, we explore new ways of creating impact by bringing together communities, businesses and institutions around shared goals.
If you’re interested in collaborating, we’d love to hear from you.
